A practical checklist for rooms, pools, access and the real cost of your stay.

## At a glance

Choose a riad by comparing its location, room layout, access and the conditions of the actual rate. Check whether a pool is shared, heated or intended only for cooling off, and confirm any essential service before booking.

## Compare the whole stay, not just a nightly price

There is no single useful price for a riad in Marrakech. Your dates, room and selected rate determine the offer you can book. Open the official booking engine for your exact stay and compare occupancy, meals, payment requirements and cancellation conditions. If two offers look different, ask what each includes before deciding. A lower headline figure does not tell you whether transfers or other services will cost extra.

## Make the room details work for you

Look at the room itself rather than the accommodation category alone. Check the floor, bed, bathroom arrangement and any detail that matters to you. At Tajania, Suite Amal is 52 m² with a double bathtub, Suite Habiba is 45 m² with a central shower, Room Jasmine is 34 m² with carved wood and mirrored mosaics, and Room Tajania is 28 m² at patio level with a courtyard-pool view. Each has a king-size bed for a maximum of two guests aged 16 and over.

## Understand the pool photographs

Ask whether the pool is shared or private, what it is intended for and whether it is heated. Tajania has two shared plunge pools, in the courtyard and on the rooftop, for cooling off and relaxing; neither is heated, and they are not pools for swimming lengths. A courtyard-pool view does not mean a room has its own private pool. There is no on-site hammam, but six facial and massage treatments are available by reservation.

## Check access before you travel

A medina address can mean a final walk through narrow lanes and stairs inside the riad. Tell your host about luggage or mobility needs before reserving. Ask for the exact meeting point, room floor and transfer arrangements. Tajania’s team can explain the approach to 29, Derb Bouderba and discuss a requested airport transfer.

## Read reviews with a purpose

Recent guest reviews can tell you a lot about the welcome, cleanliness, breakfast and noise. Look for comments from travellers like you, whether couples, friends or families, and pay attention to how the hosts respond. A few words about the arrival or the stairs can be more useful than an overall score. Reviews of Riad Tajania can be read on TripAdvisor and Google.

## Booking direct or through a platform

Large booking platforms make comparison easy, but booking directly with a riad can bring a better rate or a more personal arrangement. At Riad Tajania, direct accommodation bookings receive 15% off the published rate, with breakfast included. Whichever channel you use, read the rate conditions carefully and keep your confirmation.

## Policies worth checking

Check the minimum stay, the minimum age, the check-in and check-out times and the payment methods accepted. At Tajania, the minimum stay is two nights, guests must be 16 or over, check-in is from 14:00 and check-out by 11:00. Payment is accepted in cash, Visa and Mastercard, but not American Express. City tax is charged separately, per person per night.

## Think about the time of year

A rooftop terrace and a fireplace are used differently in July and in January. In summer, shade, air conditioning and a plunge pool to cool off matter most. In winter, ask about heating in the rooms and blankets for cool nights. Matching the riad to your season makes the stay more comfortable.

## Confirm the moments you care about

A cooking class, an in-suite treatment or a private dinner at the riad? Tell us when you book and our team will confirm every detail before you arrive. For exclusive use, share your dates, number of guests and occasion to receive a tailored proposal. You arrive knowing everything is ready.

## Does a riad room price include every service?

Not necessarily. Check the selected rate and ask separately about meals, transfers, treatments and experiences.

## Does Tajania offer private or heated pools?

No. Riad Tajania has two shared plunge pools, one in the courtyard and one on the rooftop, for cooling off and relaxing; neither is heated.

## Is there a minimum stay at Riad Tajania?

Yes, the minimum stay is two nights. Guests must be aged 16 or over, and each room or suite accommodates up to two guests.

## What are the advantages of booking directly?

Direct accommodation bookings at Riad Tajania receive 15% off the published rate, with breakfast included. The discount does not apply to experiences, treatments, transfers or city tax.
